Please Note: The Ecoflow is neither a “water softener” nor a “water filter”. The Ecoflow breaks down various Chloride particles which consist of; Calcium, Magnesium, Boron, Sodium. It does NOT require any electricity, chemicals or maintenance. With all Agricultural Systems Pre Filtration will be required prior to the installed position of the Ecoflow. Applications of the Ecoflow™ Catalytic Water Conditioner

Prevents and eliminates hard water scale and corrosion on all water related equipment from Pivot Systems to drip lines, emitters, sprinkler heads, irrigation pumps and water lines.

Greenhouse Operations

Treating physical clogging is straight forward and most of the clogging can be resolved with pre-filtration on your water supply line to the greenhouse. It’s best to start out with a clog free system prior to install your filtration filter.

With biological clogging, to take care of it properly will take some effort. For instance, if a propagation house’s emitters are clogged with biofilm, growers must choose between a few different treatment strategies. One is to take the emitters down, replace them with clean ones and wash the clogged ones. Chemical treatments are also an option, although bacteria can become resistant to them over time. A new method we have introduced is the Ecoflow Water Conditioner, which should start out with a clean system.

The Ecoflow unit will aid in reducing biofilm an algae growth and aid in kill existing growth.

In the matter of chemical clogging, the process is like treating physical clogging. It requires using a large concentration of the chemical being used to clear out the pipe and the line being shut down. It also requires an empty greenhouse, or temporarily emptying a greenhouse, to avoid damaging plants.

A new method being used is to install the Ecoflow Water Conditioner which will start breaking down mineral deposits in the water supply lines, putting them into suspension allow the deposits to flush through the water supply line.

With the use of the Ecoflow Water Conditioner there may not be the need to shut down the entire greenhouse. It could be as easy as opening a flush valve at the end of the water supply line allowing the suspended mineral deposits to be flushed out.

The different treatment options together is that unclogging irrigation systems is a labor-intensive process, and not all growers can take workers off other tasks in the greenhouse and assign them to the problem.
